Author Topic: BUG ON WINDOW  (Read 4228 times)

I was sitting here browsing the forums when suddenly I hear a buzzing noise, so I thought it was a fly like always, there's always like 5 of em on my window, so I take a quick glance and I see some huge motherloving beetle like thing and I scream like a girl. (No, I didn't actually scream)

If there is one thing I hate it's bugs. I can stand reptiles, heights, mice + rats, etc but not bugs. Hate those sonuvabitches.

Anyway, I managed to get a picture after I killed it;

Anyone know what the hell this is?

A grasshopper?
And how did you kill it?

There is absolutely no way a grasshopper managed to get into the 7th floor of an apartment building.
I killed it by grabbing a paper napkin and squishing it against the window.

Looks like a cross between a roosterroach and a grasshopper

LOL YOU WON'T EAT IT
lolwhat.
I'm scared to even touch bugs with my bare hands D:

He shot it with his pinky guns! :D

Stink bug?If it is a stink bug stomp on it and if it makes a crack noise it is a stink bug.

I've seen stink bugs before, that's not one of em.

I glanced at the topic title, and thought it said "Bug on windows" as in the computers. And then I join to find an insect. :D

I know exactly what it is, it's a Leaf Footed Bug (Euthochtha galeator). I'm an insect expert, myself. :D Anyone want baby european praying mantises for their garden?

If you live in Canada, then yeah. and if it had yellow and black wings when you saw it flying, that's the one.

EW forget.
How did it get all the way to the seventh floor?
Shhhhhiiiii it better have not laid any eggs.

Probably not. They usually lay eggs in a forest environment.

It probably found a way in through an open window, or (Yeah, creepy) it could have latched on to someone's leg as they were entering the building. but yeah, you shouldn't have killed it :C You could have kept it as a pet. They're harmless, and I find them kind of cute (Don't ask.) Seriously, even my neighbor said "Awww!!" when she saw a little bee on my shoe. :)

Did I not mention I hate every single insect? Keeping that thing as a pet would be the last thing that comes to mind when seeing it.
