I just have a deep hatred for furries. Episodes of major friendry caused by you guys are rooted down into the history of the internet, such immense professions of stupidity even that I highly doubt anything you could do at this point would ever erase that foul taste those times left in peoples' mouths.
Here's a tip. If you don't want to be ostracized, then SHUT THE forget UP ABOUT BEING A FURRY ON THE INTERNET. Otherwise everyone will hate you for the very reason that everyone hates furries in general.
Allow me to expand on some history in case you're curious.
Furries have, for a long time, professed their special interest on forums all over the internet. To a point even when back in the early years around 2000 it became very difficult to ignore these guys, and of course people with no interrest in that stuff started bashing them. It's a common cycle on the internet, someone exposes some characteristic of him/herself (vulnerability), some other guy attacks it (exploits said vulnerability), and then the guy/girl either A: Retaliates, B: Accepts it with a MEH, or C: Ignores it. C is a very rare case, but is usually the best option to take, and causes the less friction.
Now how does this apply to furries exactly? Well, all furries chose option A, which is what the majority of everyone does and that's a minor point. The major thing is, the way they defended themselves, implying that people who were picking on them were the equivalence of Riddler in discriminatory fashion, and that everyone wanted to extinguish the furry race (no, I'm not loving joking). From that it sparked a huge stuffstorm where all the furries embarked on the Riddler wagon. This of course was an absolutely ridiculous brown townogy, it was just such a loving stupid counter argument and no one could even fathom why all of them would hop on it like pompous, self-righteous starfishs like they did. And, they kept up with it for a good while before moving to other idiotic arguments. The way they asserted their opinions as Rights and Freedoms on the internet left a huge stuff stain, especially when Rights and Freedoms means very little on the internet as it's not owned by any single state. Imposing rules on the entire internet is loving handicapped and that's precisely what they were aiming for with their Adolf Riddler (and other human atrocity related) argument as their flimsy handicapped shield.
tl;dr Seeing as all the loving furries jumped to such a high level after being Called Out on the internet, everyone concluded that all furries are therefore the epitome of Internet = serious business, and friendry. Furries are also partially blamed for trying to tie real world laws to the internet, which would ultimately undermine the entire loving point of the internet.
If you are a furry then keep it in the closet, because if you don't you will be flamed to death.
