Author Topic: Need help! Blockland dosen't work!  (Read 3017 times)

It first started after I took a long break from Blockland (it worked fine before then) When I run Blockland it starts to load and then errors out after it says it detected an accelerated OpenGL device in the window that pops up. This happened first in v8 and still happens in v10. I have found a way around this by setting the compatibility to win 95 or win 98/Me, but this has it's problems too. Blockland always crashes when exiting and when I start a single player game after I just exited a previous single player game. Also the auto updater dosen't work. (I had a hard time installing v10 :panda:) Please help me!

Edit: I'm using Win XP.

Try permantley delete Blockland
Then download blockland again and type in your key

That wouldn't work. It first started at v8, then I got v9 and it had the same problem (I had no add-ons ether)
and same with v10 (but know that, don't you?)

Can some one please help me! I really need it!

I tried that a couple times. It doesn't work.  :panda:

Do a virus scan cause something might screw your programs and just be sure.
And just to be sure: did you or did you not UNINSTALL and then DELETE you Blockland folder and the INSTALL Blockland again. Cause this is the solution Spartan offered.
And also when nothing helps do this:
1. Dont make any compatibilty adjustments(just let it run normally)
2.Start Blockland
3.Play the game until it crashes
4.After it has crashed, go to your Blockland directory, and find a file named console.log
5.Copy its contents(its a text file) to the forums or just upload the file itself.
6.Wait till someone who knows about these things reads that thing and finds out the problem in there.
Thats all i can suggest...

ok, here:

Update all your drivers on your computer, then post again if you are still experiencing problems.

I'm quite sure I have the newest drivers.

If thats all the console.log then you can clearly see what wrong in this thing:
Your game crashes at Video Init.
That says me either your video card has issues or something else is wrong...

I think I had the same video card when it worked before. I'll check it anyway.
