Movie will be stuff.
The book is the epitome of comics.
The only way the story can be properly experienced is in comic form.

and bustos, you are a loving liar and have not read any of the comics. that last post proves it.

Correct I slanted the truth.  I use to skim them at the library, mostly looking at the pictures.  So my bad for not knowing the name of the loving vehicle.
Was the "loving liar" necessary? Do you speak to everyone like that? No.  I doubt it. Have some respect, i did nothing for you to "lash-out" or whatever you wanna call it

Ill make sure to actually read them now though. =]

Lol, ok? I didnt want any problems or whatever so uhh, thanks?

Anyway back on topic, the parts that i had "read" were about Rorschach seeing his mom forget some random dude that was probably payin her for the love.  She beat the stuff out of him.  And he also beat the crap outta these two kids. And burned the stuff outta one of there eyes.
During this whole time, he was taking a Rorschach test, and the images reminded him of all that stuff.

It was pretty nuts

This is going to be the greatest movie ever

This is going to be the greatest movie ever
If they do it right.

Wow! I'm surprised someone knew who he was! I read the Watchmen over summer vacation, the graphic novel, and it was the best thing I have ever read. Too bad I didn't finish it, never found out what happened to The Comedian, I know he died, but how was the question...

Spoilers Ahead !

Adrian killed him

Edit: Opps double post :(

What the machine in the end of the trailer?

ahahaha. i just realized this was such a old topic. i was wondering why people were so vague about it and like WTF THE COMMERCIALS ARE ALL OVER ARE YOU KIDDING ME, then i was like oh...right. yeah, cool.

On topic: Yeah, excited. However, my parents don't let me see R rated. only at my brother's place on DVD, or if he takes me to theaters (he is 29) so ya.

Epic bump, but not really.

And I hate the director for this movie, he's that guy who did 300 and such, his chroma key effects are really, really, crappy.

However, it might work for a comic-book movie, since they look cartoonish.

Only thing I didn't like about the comics is that nobody had actual super powers except for the good doctor.

if any of you watched Sunday Morning they did a review of the movie compared to the book

they said it 'followed the book too closely'
which kinda dissapointed me

ive read the novel and its epic win; but the movie, i wanted to see them alter it in some way or another

Watchmen  <---scroll over for a spoiler, WARNING SPOILER!!!! DON'T GET PISSED OFF AT ME BECAUES I WARNED YOU!!! :3

I'm anxious to see what it might be like. Never heard of it before seeing the previews. My only caveat is that one guy looks too similar to Batman.
Do note that Batman's a ripped guy in a tight bat suit... It's going to be common to see another superhero like him :\
