So it'd be;

1: 3 + 9a - 6a
3a + 3

2: 10 a + -4a - 2a=
4a

3: 7a + -3b + 6a=
13a - 3b

You find out what the variables equal, not simplify.
3a+3=0, 3a=-3, a=-1

If there's nothing to the right of the equal sign, then it equals zero.
