Author Topic: Beachbums USSR application *finished* -VERY Image heavy-  (Read 1954 times)

For the past few sweat breaking hours, I've been working on the final product as my application for the USSR. The key aspects of this build is that it's just an out of the ordinary library. Last I checked, nobody has applied to the USSR with a library.

The main thing's I'd like to say about this build is that, it took me literally 20+ tries to make it just perfect. I started over and over. I came across many difficulties while making this. But, I finally think that it actually is perfect. If you have any constructive criticism please do post here, any flaming will be ignored.

Well, without further ado, I present to you, Beachbums Library.

I overall like the build but the Ceiling inside is a bit weird.

Yeah, I couldn't really figure out what to do with it.

Is there upside down tiles in Rtb? I am not sure but if there is Vialoa!

Good luck. I hope you get in.

It's good, but not last-slot-USSR good.

I also notice how you completely abandoned your original design.

I wonder what happened to the most legendary building ever? I mean, it wasn't done. When it was, it was going to be amazing.

Right?

I talked to Face about that one, he said that it just had too many ramps, and was too intricate, and that it would defiantly get vetoed, so, I went with the safer way and used what he said:

Simplicity is often key

If you cant mash it, smash it.

Alright, I can deal with that, but I still don't think it's USSR worthy. First of all, it's too small. Secondly, it just seems to lack continuity. USSR builds take a while because they are huge, but also flow well. This whole build just seems kind of small and awkward.

And again, there's a difference between being bad and not being good enough for USSR, this is the latter.

Kay, any key points of improvement you may have?

Bigger. A lot bigger.

My RotB app took me about a month and had 14,000 bricks.

The ceiling looks absolutely disgusting.

I still don't think this will get you in.
