We do not need an image hosting website that has pop-ups, and either forces you to link to their site or use a really loving small thumbnail, as far as I see.

indeed but photobucket allows you to get a photo and reuse the link in a later date. If you have no registration then how would you be able to manage all the ones you put to the site.
