Linux is good if you have alot of time on your hands, personally I like vista(soon to be Windows 7) as long as its not a laptop and it has NVIDIA, I HATE macs especially after they screwed my sister over halfway through college just because she had alot of picture son there, IN WHICH I HAD MORE PICTURES ON MY PIECE OF stuff LAPTOP thats getting worse every day and broken down 7 times.
