No, she took too many steroids and... Yeah.

looks like it had a rubber band around it and left it on for too long :o

Global warming is just a big industry, the worlds temperature has constantly been rising and lowering all the time. Also, how did you find that? :P

It is ignorant to assume that all of the chemicals we are releasing into the air and water isn't having a significant affect on the world.

The world does experience natural heating and cooling cycles, but since the industrial revolution (when pollution really came into full swing) the globe has been experiencing temperatures outside of the normal range.

I don't believe that our blatant disregard for environmental consequences will affect us in our lifetime. Much like our economic woes today, usually the problems we experience are the result of decisions made long before we are born. We should make the changes today, for tomorrow, for our children, and grandchildren.

Unlike the claims of those whom oppose "green" policies merely based on political/economic pressures, methods to reduce or eliminate waste products are economically viable, but like all great ideas, they will take time and investment to see potential.

Rushing into any one particular technology isn't a good idea either. Everyone is hyped up on wind and solar sources, but neither of these is very environmentally friendly and both are not economically feasible. E85 ethanol was another big flop as the energy cost to produce it was not considered before the government started to subsidize it's production.

Short term solutions are like patches on worn jeans; we can only keep patching for so long and eventually we will need a whole new pair. The sooner we get a new pair, the less money, damage and fatalities will occur.
