what are bots?

I want to know what are bots and what do they do.

Bots are kind of like AI players. The current bot mod doesn't work to well :( (there use to be a better one)
You can make them follow you or shoot at someone. you can also make them say stuff. I think Space Guy is working on a better one. (hopefully)

i heard a bot named "badspot" say somthing in chat on a server, i freaked out until they told me it was a bot... IT PWNED
