heh that actually sounds like something i'd say.

People should stop issuing loans for consumption. It's loving handicapped, they should issue loans for investing into something (real estates are investments too) or setting up businesses, but not for buying an HDTV and a stuffty car for a loan that should be paid off by the end of the tenth year, but the car itself fall apart after the third year.

Dear oh so loving developed countries. You lost.

MOAR. ._.

Not sure if it's true or been mentioned yet, but my history teacher says part of the reason we're in the 2nd depression is because the auto industries paid their workers so damn much way back in tha day.

I won't go into details because I'm not a history person and if I did I'd probably sound handicapped, and I'm not even sure my teacher knows what he's talking about, but figured I'd bring something else to this conversation. (Also, the reason he says that might be simply because we live in Michigan and cars are a big part of our economy.)

They also need to stop giving loans to anybody, even to those looking for an investment. The majority of new businesses fail early on because of poor management or just a poor product. Banks should have the sense to not grant loans to people they know will fail and not be able to pay them back.

So the cause of this depression could be summed up in one word:

Irresponsibility.

What's a bible, is it that famous fiction novel I use as a doorstop?
