Author Topic: In-Game Script Editor - Beta 3b Important Fix!  (Read 3128 times)

Tom

I was bored last night and decided to make this. Its fully working, but I still need to make it better. I'm not sure if I should replace the ML text box with a textlist. The text list would be neater, but it would be hard to edit stuff on.

So you can just script in-game? Thats pretty cool. I'll try it out right away.

SolarFlare made something like this. I think that this looks more efficient, though, because the load bar is on the side of the main typing space instead of a drop down box from a button.

Pretty useless if you ask me, the fact that you can't make new datablocks in-game just kills this mod.

Edit: Now that I think of it, it could help with other things.

Tom

Just so you know - It doesn't let you edit any script in the BL folder.

Oh, wow...

This is very useless.

Really if you want to script ingame you can just open up notepad...

The whole "I was bored" thing just lets us know that you think what you've made is crap and you're embarrassed that you even spent time on it, so you have to invent excuses to make it seem like you just did this during your lunch break or something when it was raining.

Last night I was bored, so I was gonna re-write my hunger mod. When I was about to start i thought of the idea, and  made it. It didn't turn out as good as I wanted it to, but I'm still working on it.

Did need. <Insert Positive Comment>

Tom, I'm adding you as a modification Designer in Blockintosh. :D

You deserve nonexistant cookies for this!  :cookie:

Well done ol chap!

Sorry for double toast but I get this error in console:

Code: [Select]
exec: invalid script file name config/scriptedit/.

Tom

Does it happen when you exec add-on files or files made with it?
