Author Topic: Imageshack: More annoying by the second.  (Read 1320 times)

Seriously... they just want all of their images linking to them. I know that's a free image host, but who gives a stuff?

I like imageshack... but they just got more annoying.

"Advanced Linking"? Trying to scare people?

Trying to make people not notice that link? No.

Another one...

One again, they can do anything they want; and it is also a free hosting site so...

Whenever you try to upload a file from the file dialogue if you hit open twice, you'll end up clicking an ad below it.

i always use the direct link. doi

theres nothing wrong with trying to advertise your stuff. its a free image hosting, anyway.
and no one is forcing you to use the marked link, the straight url is still available there

This is why I use photobucket.

i always use advance linking.

Tom

I like PhotoBucket better.

I like anything that does not require registering, however I did anyway :)

photobucket sucks becuase it deletes pictures after lie 60 days or something. I use Imageshack and use the direct link.

well it is one of those image hosting websites. I got to threads with certain pictures on them and it is all picture not found because you need to pay monies to make them stay longer yada yada

ive been on a free account since 2004 on photobucket and none of my pictures have been deleted

first ever image i uploaded on photobucket

that probably means the owner of the account deleted the picture

Photobucket is best for storing pictures and wanting to come back to them later.

But if it's just a quick upload, use TinyPic

And if it's a file, I greatly suggest MediaFire
You can also create an account if you want to store your files.
