If Blockland will die or not all depends on the amount of people that will play it.
I have to say it would be interesting if I could just forget about Blockland and then come back in 5 years and completely climax.

Lol, I hope its redone to the point when PC technology is insane, and all bricks can have physics, even with water that flows between bricks, and is held by them. Air, currents blowing the bricks generated if bricks come together fast or a fan turns. Sort of like invisible powder from the powder game.

This is probably what will end up happening.

Badspot will hire programmers, advertisers, and administrators for the forums. They together will update Blockland every so often. Badspot will have to find a new way to do server searches, or some way to find the server you would like.
