If you get high school right, life is easier. You get into better schools, get better jobs, exc. Although if you forget up high school you get the same, it takes more time and money. I'm not going to forget up high school. Its easy right now, so why not get a 4.0 and get into Notra Dame?

Well, you could forget high school, go into an apprenticeship and make money right off the bat, or you could work at high school, do good go to a university or college and work your way on from then, but to get to a good University you need to try in HS
Going to college = high school means jack stuff.

What aren't you getting?

What aren't you getting?

where do you live? HS grades are how you get into good colleges. Me, wanting to be an MD of some sort, I need a good school to go to. One with high med school acceptance rates.

What?

I'm not saying don't try. I'm saying once you graduate high school and move on everything you did is not relevant anymore.

The only reason to go to a college like Notre Dame is to say you went there. You can get a similar education at many cheaper public universities. Hell, if you really want to go to a prestigious college the best thing to do is do really good in your first three or four semesters of college. GO to a good public school and transfer.

You are stupid.

After you get in they don't care about what courses you took or what grades you got. It's either "What's your major" or "What kind field do you want to specialize in".

Just recently I wiped everything involving high school off my resume. Employers don't care anymore now that I've finished a semester of college.

I made it into merit roll :D

Good colleges have high med school acceptance percentages. I want this.
Secondly, I want to skip the step of transphering and go directly there. If I work hard during HS, then that makes me go directly where I want. Plus, I don't have to work that hard.
You are stupid.

What are we talking about? I want to go to a good med school. First comes pre-med. After this you must apply and get accepted to med school. (This is at a difference school) The better the school, the higher rate of going to med school.

I agree. Its just they do care about college. and colleges care about high school stuff. ACT, SAT, Grades, extracurricular, exc.

I honestly hope you plan to not make any money as an MD.

You will make no money as an MD.

*edit*Not saying becoming an MD is bad.

Ok you brought up Med-school and Pre-med courses and somehow juxtaposed what I said into whatever is running freely in your head.

Getting your foot in the door with SAT, afterschool crap, etc. is entirely different than what goes on AFTER you get in.

the real money's in anesthesiology, if you're financially inclined
