The server has never been full, and it doesn't lag at all for me, so I say nay on another server.

If you mean that the green lag icon appears, make sure you've selected the right network type in the Age of Time options. If you mean that the game is choppy, ie low framerate, adjust the detail level. Other than that theres not much else to be done

Servers cost money. I rent a server 2ghz server with a 1200gb bandwidth allotment. It costs $120/month plus $99 for setup. Setting up an alternate server in another location would be prohibitively expensive at this point.

So far today, the server has used 9.7gb of bandwidth. There is no residential connection available that can handle that kind of traffic. Hosting from home is not an option.

A game server like this requires a dedicated machine. A cheap shared hosting plan just won't work. At any rate, a server in china wouldn't really help someone living in texas.

I wasnt really asking for me to start one I was just wondering if it was that hard to start up a dedicated server that might go down sometimes.

Meh, if I wanted I could give him $150, but my parents are crazy, excuse me, my mom is crazy about interacting with people I don't know directly, so I can't really unless I put it in the mail while they are gone. I'd be happy to donate some money because Badspot is being nice enough by spending his time and money just so we can play a game.
