Hey peoples,
I just pretty much finished the wikibooks blockland mapping tutorial I started last year...I was bored, so I looked it up, and low and behold, it was still there, so I just filled it out.
It's not advanced by any means, but it could help as a reference sort of thing, answer some very basic questions.

I'm not sure if there's already something like this or not, I do remember Luq had an awesome one started at one point, based on what I saw at the time, if he ever finshed it it would be way better then this one, but at the time he had all kinds of stuff going on, so I'm not sure what happened.
But then again, I've been gone for quite a while, so I have no idea, but I figured it couldn't hurt.

Can I help out filling in some of the empty spots? I have a detailed tutorial on using water.

This blockland mapping wiki has been up for a long time. I assumed that it was luquado's mapping tutorial thingy. Haha.

Nah, Psychninja started it up and then I took his table of contents and fleshed it out to use for the other one I was working on to make it more thorough.

Sure, by all means, I didn't fill most of the water sections out because I've forgotten what little I did know about water, I was hoping someone who knew how to use it would fill it out, so by all means.
And anyone who want to add to, or improve on it can feel free, that's why I did it on Wiki in the first place.

Oh, and speaking of, last night I reformatted it completely, cleaned up the text formatting, added a click-able contents menu with subsections for easier editing.

Ach, that is ironic, glad to hear it's getting finished though, that thing rocked. I'll have to go check that out.

Thanks, and yes I intend on it, I'm not going to be making many (if any) interiors at this point, and I'm going to take my time making the maps themselves.
Right now I've just been sketching out ideas, trying to come up with stuff that's actually worth making/playing.
