For those of you who care, I just broke up with my other bitch of a girlfriend. Now, here's the trouble, I have this friend that i've liked since 10th grade. She's an awesome friend and I like her alot, but, I really don't know if she likes me at all, plus, I don't know if she's dating anyone else right now. I really don't know how to ask her out either, because if she says no, then it could forget up our friendship too. Halp pls.

back in school, i gave a friend chick i was interested in, an anonymous gift. and waited for her to ask me if i knew who it was.
then i made some phony stuff not so subtle comment to make her think it was me without having to admit to it.

then there's no awkward rejections, or discussion. and from then on she knowing it was you can make the next moves, or not. but then you know if shes interested.
