Oh shut up.  I'm tired of this "fail clan" crap, its the same thing over and over again.

1).Some one new makes a clan and either neglects to put up adequate information or their post is unreadable.
2.)Some of the more "respected" members of the community come in and flame the topic for several pages making the original poster angry.
3.)The guy who started the clan freaks out and starts insulting you for telling him that his clan fails.
4.)Someone starts drama topic about how much that person sucks and how they make stupid crap.
5.)The person either leaves or continues to freak out in which case they get banned for spamming crap.

    I have nothing wrong with people voicing their opinion about a clan, but is it really necessary to spam it for several pages?  If the clan really sucks that badly it will either die on it's own or fill up with a bunch of annoying people, either way you can ignore it.  Although I rarely see the second event happen, the clans threads you guys say suck just fill up with people saying how much they suck.
    I don't have any issues with MrCookie, their are tons of people who do this.  I'm just tired of people who think that it's their job to be the police of the forum.  
    The whole thing about some people thinking they're the forum police also applies when people spam the forums, report it and move on there really isn't anything more you can do.  There's no need to make 5+ topics complaining about the spam or whining about it in the topics that were spamed, your only making it worse by doing so.  In fact I remember  Badspot saying something about this once.

When someone goes on a posting rampage, just report the goddamn posts and be done with it.  Don't make 500,000 other topics about it and send me private messages and emails and stuff.  Deleting one account is easy enough but cleaning up all the related stuff is a pain in the ass.

    Most of these clans are on top of the board because people like you help keep them there.  If you don't post in them they will fall to the bottom and leave clans that are worth while at the top.

True, Wedge posted a link to a firefox extenstension that allows you to block certain elements of a page so you could still see the other boards there.

I post it it while it's still somewhat, near the top of the page. If you didn't notice, I stopped flaming the YaaB clan after it went on to the second. Half the clans I flame, die off. For example, Delta got flamed pretty bad, so he locked his. I agree with your post, but it irritates me that they keep coming. I can't hold of my rage. Also, if you didn't notice, I'm not flaming nearly as much as I was last week.

I agree it's very irritating when a majority of the clan post are stupid, I just feel like if more people ignored these threads they would fall to the bottom untouched.

Sure it might cause the person to close the thread.  However a lot of times when a clan thread is flamed the original poster just heads to drama where this crap continues.

I've noticed, my post wasn't really directed at you specifically, although now that I reread my post, I realize it may seem like that.  A lot of people do this and you are by far not the worst.  I just thought that this topic was a good place to express something that I have thought for a long time.

No, it wouldn't.  Kids would still beg their parents to pay $5 for a clan, in fact, it may cause more clans.  After all, you want something more when you can't/don't have it.
