Author Topic: My key is now invalid.  (Read 5000 times)

I think Badspot disactivated my key. I don't know why, but it doesn't work. I'm trying to ask him for a new key. Lets cross our fingers he will give me one.

Did you share it?
No, not at all. It's only been installed to computers inside my own house.

Hah good luck on that he could care less if he de-activated your key.  He just wants you to buy the game again.  :cookieMonster:

If he wanted to make money like that he could just disable everyones key and say it was an accident.

If that is the problem, why is there a LAN setting?

One key can be used for any number of people as long as they are using the same name and are at the same IP address (ie in the same house).

Clan tags can be used to distinguish different people with the same name.

Don't give him ideas D:

You know, sometimes the game just randomly says "Invalid Key;" try restarting Blockland, or even your computer.

That may be your probelm.
No, I have my blockland installed on this house and my house down the street (Grandparents who barely go there) and that has never conflicted with anything.

Tom

He probably looks for lots of far IP changes and Name changes when he thinks someone's sharing their key.

My name was being changed to crap like "bee mario" for weeks, I knew someone was using my account and I did report it. http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=51416.0. The key recovery doesn't send another key to my email, it says it doesn't exist, i've re-installed Blockland a few times now.

Is it just me or are we seeing a large spike in the number of 'Key Deactivation/Stolen' topics lately?
