Why is blockland so laggy for me?

When ever i join a server its a little laggy and it only has a good 5k bricks. It's anoyying cause everyone else ses they arnt laggy. so why am I? please help thanks.

Turn down graphics. My computer is on the brink of stuff, but it can have the graphics really high. In this case your computer might be like my mom's and needs to have the graphics toned down.
