Right now, it is only an idea.

Basically, it will merge the physics and graphics of the Source engine, and the gameplay and construction of Blockland. I'm not really sure if this would be approved of, because 1. I'm a newbie, and 2. it would end up being a mod of Half-Life 2, and not Blockland itself.

What I would love to see are things like bricks flying away in a spectacular explosion because of a bomb, people actually reinforcing their walls so they wont be flying away in a spectacular explosion because of a bomb. People destroying an enemy base in a deathmatch because they went to destroy their main support instead of just hitting the walls randomly. Being able to create a full RPG server, where land costs money, higher quality bricks cost more than lower quality bricks, and the players enforce the laws instead of the admins.

I am currently working on a flash presentation and site that will demonstrate all my goals and visions, and hopefully will be ready earlier than the year 2567.

Hopefully I wont get mercilessly flamed after I press this post button. If people think this would be worth seeing, then I will actually start developing it. If they dont, then I will go find somthing else to do.

heh a minifig with physics would be fun in gmod

but wait! with the mighty power of the search engine i found

Looked like it had potential, but from the dates of the news it looks dead... :(

Good idea.

I want to download that other one, but it's not available for download..

Heh sounds neat! Some folks were on my server when I was faking the effect and blowing blocks around in BL, but "real" physics would be even cooler.

It would be even cooler if the bricks were weighted like real legos. So you can't do impossible builds.

You want a 48X48F to collapse on a 1X1?

Yeah, if you build the corner of the 48x48 on the 1x1, it would fall. But not if you put it on the center, of course.

This is what we need!!!

If this was created and wasn't stuffty like most of these n00b mods, (no i'm not talking about rtb and aio-r) I would buy HL2 and play that mod.

Yeah, if somebody could get a mod like this on HL2 it would probably be worth buying HL2 for alone.

This sounds really cool, I must say, I would play it when ready.

Uhh... this sucks. My Idea is not completley original, I just found this http://rtb.mocheeze.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=78&sid=b2601ff8403dc03864e56a2d6ef2faae
Well, it's a pretty general and obvious idea, so nobody can really take credit for thinking it up, but unfortunately I don't think it would work too well in Torque. Or at least until connections are faster. Those new physics processors should improve the physics in games a ton, and take some load off the CPU.

Somebody suggested re-making it on the HL2 engine BTW.
