I got $150 for each picture they used. It depends on your agent and experience and such.

She is pretty good at it too if I remember right, she showed some of her modeling work and it was actually pretty good.

Yes I know what you mean, tons of people in my school have modeled for stores. I just mean shes the only one who does it consistently. Its not too hard to model for a clothing store, I always see tons of hideous people on ads at the mall. Especially the skate shops, their usually the ugliest.
