Well yeah, I mean we keep the minefield and razorwire. Can't make it too easy to leave.

No one was allowed to go outside at my school. We had a nice court yard with chairs and art and stuff...but no one could ever use it.

My school doesn't really have an indoors aside for classrooms. Its a bitch for rainy days but I dont mind. I love rain. :D

My highschool was based off a design used in California. Doesn't work well in a Canadian winter though.

Yeah it wouldn't work well here either, it usually gets decent enough to wear t-shirts and shorts in late May. (Earlier if you don't mind wearing a wind breaker)

My Highschool contains around 350 students and was built over 100 years ago.
