Alcohol tastes terrible in my opinion. I'd rather just stay sober and do stupid stuff than try to scarf down cherry vodka...bleh.

It starts to taste better, especially when you're already drunk. Last time I went drinking my friends tricked me and kept pouring me this moonshine stuff after I was already a little buzzed and they were all laughing as I was saying it was the best mixed drink I ever had and it wasn't even mixed with anything. The room started spinning hardcore but that's also something you learn to get used to and even enjoy it turns from the worst feeling ever to a free rollercoaster ride that lasts all night.
