How does thin blood make you bleed more?
What stops you from bleeding is that your blood thickens to block flow out of your body until a scab can form. If your blood is thin to begin with, it has a harder time coagulating (becoming thicker) and causes you to lose more blood.

well the first thing i thought was that maybe the paint will dissolve in the alcohol that would be in your blood if you drank but i had no idea that alcohol was an anticoagulant either

anti-coagulant
coagulation = blood thickening and preventing more from escaping the wound
right?
yes

Oh wow I'm dumb I forgot about the tattoo being a wound that can bleed.

yes

The only way that would remotely make sense was if I was injecting alcohol into my tattoo with a tattoo gun and vodka.

A tattoo is literally an open wound.

I know, I forgot about the tattoo and was questioning how thin blood bleeds more than thick blood. I was thinking there was no wound in the scenario.

okay so its like when they tell you that you cant smoke for an hour after donating blood

that makes sense

thick blood is thicker than thin blood

It is exactly nothing like that, lol. Smoking after getting blood drawn can cause you too pass out because of the nicotine reacting with the minimal amount of blood being distributed around your body.

A better way to look at it is you shouldn't drink after donating blood because you're already lower on blood, so adding a coagulant to that is a terrible mixture.

ohi think i get it now

do you guys like my new belt

It suits your orientation, I can say.

I wear those kinds of belts though.  They're easy to take off if I have to and not constricting uncomfortable.  It sucks if I really have to pee though, like REALLY have to, because I have to push into my bladder to unbuckle it.

i bought it at a thrift store and i think it belonged to a fabulous obese man

i had to cut it practically in half and burn the edge so it would actually fit me
without me having to put it around my waist three times
