Your class isn't abnormally short then. 5' 8" is taller than average for someone your age. Now, my brother is tall - he was a freshman this year, and he's already 6', surpassing me by half an inch (I'm almost 18); that puts him in the 100th percentile for height in the US (meaning that if he was in a crowd of any 100 kids his age, he'd most likely be the tallest, with a few exceptions, of course).
no no you'd get what i mean if you saw the people in my grade. lots are the height of fourth graders and it's very odd.

i'm 5'8" and for some reason my generation is like really short so im taller than just about everyone in my grade.

i'm gonna be in 11th and i'm 5 foot 7

see pass

Me too! I am still in 10th, but I graduate 10th grade next week. I am not exactly 5'7, I am a bit above 5'6 and a half and about 3-4 centimeters away from 5'7. I think I'll grow more, since my mom is 5'10, dad is 5'7, my grandfather on my dads side was 6'2, and all of the males on my moms side are over 6 feet. Not to mention, I was 5'0 in the beginning of last year and within only 1 year and 5-6 months I have grown roughly 6 and a half inches. Do you guys think I'll grow more?

I wouldn't worry about it so much if I were you. I myself am 6'2 and I am only a few inches away from being as tall as my doorway. I also have a friend who is 4'11 and she always says  she'd like to be at least 5'5. 5'8 is pretty much an ideal height for anyone especially someone who is a teenager.

I grew like 8 inches in my freshman and sophomore years and I thought I was gonna keep growing and be like 6'10" but I just completely stopped after 10th grade and haven't grown an inch since. Don't expect to grow too much anymore, you're pretty much done with that.

5'8 isn't tall though, anything over 6 feet is. Then again, most boys go through major growth spurts when they are anywhere from 14-18. I think I have time, beside I have been going through puberty at a later age from what I've noticed.

You never really know, I was reading about growth in boys and 60% of the time an increase in height during teenage years is caused by puberty, and the other 40% is from how you eat and how active you are. This summer I will start cycling a lot, and I already eat pretty well.

freshman this coming school year
haha freshman *shoves into locker*

it went there

I was tiny when I was 11. I remember measuring at 4' 4". By the time I was 14, I was 5' 3". 11" in about three years. Then I slowed down and I haven't grown much more, since I'm probably 5' 7" at very best. My dad is about 6' and my mom is 5' 4".

i did an all nighter and I'm not even tired
Haha yeah
I got 2 hours of sleep the other night, I felt like that

Then this morning I woke up at 10:56 and I had already missed my first final, got to school and was too late for my second final. 10% deducted from each, and I lost another ~10% on my web design final because it was a project and even though I had already completed it I hadn't done a self-assessment. I have to go to school for an additional day to do my rescheduled first block final
I still have two more finals tomorrow
forget
