You've never come near a pair of real raybans then.
Mine are strong as forget, I took them to Africa for three months, used them every single day and they haven't got a scratch on them. They're so comfortable too. I got my lenses polarized which doubled the price because of the intensive rays from the sun whilst I was abroad.
Probably one of my favourite things to wear that isn't clothes.

Sorry bub, your standard of strong is nowhere near mine. Let me put it in perspective for you. The sunglasses I wear most often are a pair or flexible, shatter-resistant, tinted safety glasses - and I'd prefer something much stronger. My other pair is one with a super thick frame (at least a quarter or third of an inch). They lasted my dad (previous owner) 10+ years. Plus, I don't think you'd readily throw, sit on, or kick your Ray Bans, all things that tend to happen to my sunglasses.

Well, I use mine when camping, skating, running, mowing, in the machine shop (if it's bright), etc.

Also, I don't purposefully sit on them, lol.

i tend to accidentally sit on the sunglasses i wear while driving a lot. i don't even really need them, i just hate squinting all the time because my eyes are really sensitive to light

you can get transition lenses, clip on shades, or they do make pairs of sunglasses made to be worn over glasses. my car's sunglasses are made like that.

Actually none of those. I was crawling around under my bed recently looking for something and scraped my forehead/nose line on a screw.  It [the scape] was mostly gone but I accidentally knocked the scab off prematurely.

I have glasses but I only wear them when the planets align I am a short sighted seamer you see
