That's straight up sketchy, lol. The English is bad and I can't tell if it means "For Israeli citizens, the entrance is dangerous." or if there's a separate segregated entrance for Israelis, and only that entrance is dangerous.
Regardless, I can feel the tension all the way over here in America.
whoops double post
That's an Israeli sign. On the very top its in Hebrew. Its too keep settlers from wandering around into areas that have lots of Palestinians. This was in the Area B of the west bank, which means it's accessible to Palestinians and Israelis. Area C is Israelis only, which are places like settlements, and Area A is places where israeli citizens are technically not allowed to go to, like the palestinian authority capital of ramallah. Area A makes up 28% of the west bank, while area B makes up 11% and area C 61%. Traveling through the west bank is a journey, since you need to be prepared to stop at random checkpoints around 3-5 times going from point a to b, and that's on a good day. At the moment, there is a crCIA going on in Gaza that started with 3 Israeli settler teens getting kidnapped and killed in the west bank, so travel is way harder. Sorry for the huge post.
