it's been ok

i just had my second week as a church's organist and i kinda forgeted up a bunch. and i forgot my organ shoes so i had to try to work the pedals in thick-ass rubber soled combat boots and that didn't work out at al l

if i had the choice, i'd stay home. but their old organist is too old to play so i kinda got sucked into it. not that i really mind it though, because it gives me a reason to go and play the organ there and at my old church.

pipe organs are beautiful to play, they're just really expensive to maintain so some churches are really particular as to who gets to play their organ. the main one that i play is an old hammond organ, but the old church that i go to for wednesday night stuff lets me play their real pipe organ and it's amazing
