How often is it above 95 where you live? because it's over 100 degrees for a few months here
Most summers. In 2012, the heat was so bad that all but one of my chickens died. This summer I don't think we've hit 100s yet, which is odd but could still happen, but this entire past week has been far beyond 90 in the heat of the day with stifling humidity from nearby storms.
Pretty much what happens when I go outside is that you walk into a stove with a steaming bubbling jacuzzi inside of it. Sweat forms all over your body but the air is too wet for it to evaporate, so it just gets hot and slimy all over you drenching your clothing. Excess sweat falls off onto anything you are standing next to and makes it wet.
