All sodas are mixed in concentrate, those which aren't labelled as sugar-free, are all cane sweetened (to some degree).

Boil the water off a panful of Coca Cola, as long as you don't end up burning the syrupy remainer, it should be just concentrated Coca Cola syrup.

I know, I never implied that it was. As far as I'm aware, Coca Cola's mixed with Cane Sucrose. Studies show that Fructose calories are harder to "Burn off", in comparison to those from Sucrose.
Maybe in Europe, but in North America all sodas from big companies use HFCS.
A local beverage company makes some very nice cane sugar sweetened sodas.
