Last time I checked movies were based off of books, and guess what? The movies suck ass. Most of the time the manga is forgeted over by the anime so your argument is NULL.

Neon Genesis Evangelion - If you dislike this one, you just might have stuffty taste.
FLCL - See above.
Ghost in the Shell - See above.
Death Note - Pretty cool story, had some interesting moments also.
Wolf's Rain - WOLVES
Blue Gender - ALIENS
Naruto - I like the story, but the fillers suck. Also, NINJAS
Suzumiya Haruhi no Yūutsu - Light hearted (a plus after Death Note and other serious anime) and fun
Chobits - Cute anime blah blah pantsu
Heroic Age - Sci Fi, short (26 episodes) with cool battle scenes.

I heard Soul Eater was terrible but then again I haven't seen it.

Afro: You know the end at the start, it's just him going around killing people from that point on. Then there is a guy with a bear costume and they fight a robot with giant green lasers. WHAT THE forget.

Ending pulls a damn Magic Sword.

After defeating Drokmar, the player is able to choose whether or not to use the magic orb to become evil, giving the player a choice of two endings. Taking the orb results in the "bad" ending, where the hero becomes the new Dark Lord, while choosing not to take it shows a scene where the hero destroys the orb and defeats Drokmar once and for all, restoring peace to the land.

Oh look, the bad ending is what happens in Afro Samurai.

I forget what anime I originally saw the ads on it for, but it was fairly new when I rented it from Netflix. One of their selling points was SAMUEL L. JACKSON, but he had 2 lines(not counting the stupid ramblings of the crazy guy).

I watched subbed Death Note on my PSP on bus to class trip.

It was OK except for that stupid whiny bitch. Her character sucked and her Japanese voice was really screechy.
