Hey you guys, just here with a quick update on how to make your windows XP or Vista taskbar/tasktray look like the windows seven one.

This is what the final product will look like:

The process of how to do it.

1)Press Start-
2)Click "Run"-
3)Type regedit into run-
4)Click "HKEY_CURRENT_USER-
5)Click "Control Panel"-
6)Click "Desktop"-
7)Click "Windows Metrics"-
8)Right click anywhere in the box and select "New" then "String Value"-
9)Name the new value "MinWidth" without the Quotation marks-
10)Double click the new String Value and you will have a box like this-
11)In the blank area, type in -255 -
12)Log off of your current user.
13)Log back on.

Once you have logged back on, your task bar icons should look like this;

If you ever want to get rid of this look. Just delete the MinWidth file in the directory.

I'll be back with more Window's Seven tricks for XP. Probably not Vista.

And to get rid of this you?

I has lovey HD widescreen Vista :O:O

And to get rid of this you?

It's stated there. Just deleted the MinWidth file. Just do every step up to where you have to make the file, then just right click and select "Delete".

I has lovey HD widescreen Vista :O:O

Getting that tomorrow :O:O

And also, this works for Vista. It makes it lovey(er)

Thats not what the windows 7 taskbar looks like.

Yeah. except on Windows 7, the icons will be different, and there wont be a letter. If you don't want the letter, change the value to 265. And I'm pretty sure that'll get rid of it. And, if you google up Windows Sev7n task bar, that's the icons. Ofcourse, the taskbar background will be different, if you want it like that, I have an available link.

Yeah. That's the actual task bar. I'm talking about icons.

Or do you want to know how to install that one?

Wtf, it's just download file, open file, extract files, use file, tada.

I am sorry but you are completely wrong on how it looks. This is what they are planning on a taskbar but it is locked out in the beta:

Here is how you can get it on Windows 7 if you are in the beta:

You can change the icon size and the clear taskbar is impossible on XP without glazz.

Have you even seen the Windows 7 Taskbar?
Go on youtube or w/e and find some videos of it in action.

Clearly. I'm dual booting XP and Vista. I was invited to test before the public could.
