hud is with hud (the brick pallete, chat box, tool bar n junk)
DOF depth of field? ( i think it was) the out-ressed closeup shot with the distance content focused. everyone always uses this wrong and makes stuffty pics.
and the normal screenshot that you should use most times. its without hud i think

and people just take screenshots of their avatars in game and make forum icons out of them manually

Sorry if I have a lot of questions.
What's the difference between a Hud, DOF, and a regular screenshot.
I also see some of you guys have avatars of your real blockland characters. How exactly do you do that?

1. We don't really refer things as HUD's on blockland, more as GUI's.
The difference between DOF screenshots and standard ones, is that DOF screenshots are assembled of lots of standard ones, to produce Depth Of Field blur effects, with the object in the centre in focus, and those in the foreground/background blurred. A standard screenshot merely takes a picture of what's on the screen at that time, without any of the GUI's obstructing the image.
2. People use sections of their screenshots, and use them as avatars, I'm not sure about the maximum dimensions or size for an avatar is; it's been a while since I changed mine.

DOF Picture: ctrl+shift+p
Normal Picture: ctrl+p
both will be saved under the folder "Blockland/screenshots".

Lol @ Draco, but thanks for that info. So I've seen some people build like really fast, is there some kind of copier tool? And no it's not a macro. Btw what does a duplicator do?

DOF's are Ctrl + Shift + P.

If you want a picture of your minifig, go into to Blockland on your own server, press f8, and you can fly around in a little ball of light. Your minifig stays where it is.

I'd suggest getting Return to Blockland: it's got mod downloading, IRC chat built in, and server controls. Incredibly useful.

just a little tip on this  Randomist  you can only do the "f8" ball of light or known as "admin tele" if you're on a server thats you'res OR you are   a(n) Admin on a server

Take a screenie in Blockland, then upload it using Photobucket, and then put it as your avatar.
