Author Topic: Parkour: How the hell do I get into it?  (Read 18396 times)

I do free running in London, hard to do but fun at the same time  :cookieMonster:

...Am I the only person who's never heard of Parkour?

I jumped off a 9 foot wall a month or two ago. It wasn't a smart idea, seeing as how I didn't know how to land very well.

I didn't absorb the fall by bending my legs as much as I should have. Instead of landing in a crouched position with my hands on the ground, I landed halfway up from it.

Well, I bruised my right foot, near the area below the base of the big toe's bone. Couldn't walk on it, for a while. :(
Time to roll?

Lol roll. I think that would hurt more... At least for me it would, since I cant roll.

I'm a skinny douche with a 500mph metabolism too. I'm interested.

You want to know how you get into it?

Carefully.

Parkour = Epic

You can start out by climbing stairs two steps at a time.

Wish I could but to lazy to learn.  :cookieMonster:

I want to do this, since I was 11 :(

Do not need muscles to do parkour. Just need speed and dexterity.

EDIT: Parkour is not as hard as people make it out to be.
