Author Topic: Optical Mouse Problem  (Read 1381 times)

Ok, so I normally use a laser mouse to play Blockland, but the left click wore out and I've sent it in for repair, and I'm using an optical mouse for the time being. I try to play Blockland, and it goes through the menus fine, no problem, but in game, no matter where I move the mouse, my character always looks up and to the left. Is this some sort of driver problem, because I'm sure it installed new drivers, and I've tried two different optical mice, with the same result. Any help is appreciated.

Did they come with a cd?

Do you have mouse mat?
Might be bad table for them.

Nevermind. I didn't read correctly.

These are old mice, so I do not have the instillation disks for them anymore.

Yea, you are going to need the disks if you want to use them properly.

No you don't.
Welcome to internet.
Just search your mouse name&model on google and add word "Drivers".

Bump! Ok, so I got my laser mouse back, and it still doesn't work. It's the correct driver, as I am using the disk that came with the mouse. So I reinstalled Blockland, and that still didn't work! Any suggestions?

1. Close Blockland.
2. Delete config/client/config.cs.
3. Restart Blockland.
4. ???
5. Profit.

Nope :(

Nope :(

Install Blockland by itself to another folder and don't add any Add-Ons to it.  See if the mouse works.

That's exactly how I re-installed it.

Update, well, whenever I click, scroll, or press any mouse button in-game, it also looks up and to the left. So I thought it was the macro managing software that came with the mouse, so I uninstalled it, and this still happens.

the mouse just moves across the screen on its own?

No, whatever he presses or whichever way he moves it goes up and to the left only. In-game only, not on his computer either.
