Author Topic: Uhhh... Vista Home Premium 64-bit...for system builders...wut?  (Read 546 times)

Kay guise, so I am gonna get 64-bit Vista with 4 GB of RAM from newegg.
yey.

Problem: I saw price for Retail version and shat brix at $350. I saw 'system builder's version for only $100 here.

Question: What is "system builders" version?
From reviews it doesn't look any different from normal version but I want to be sure.
Also there's no "upgrade" version for 64-bit Vista Home Premium, but it probably wouldn't work anyway cause my XP right now is 32-bit.

EDIT: Also my RAM is going to be at 1060 MHz, what effect does different MHz have on RAM?
yes my motherboard and cpu can support 64-bit Vista and the RAM.

pretty sure System Builders is like OEM.

only comes with the CD and key or whatever.

Alright, that's all I need.

I don't need a manual saying "START UP YR COMPOOTER BY PRESSNG TIS BIG BUTTON ON IT DEN SLAP A CD IN LOL UR DONE"
