When I play the game, I have an problem on single player, when I put a brick down red, it changes colour, and when I got an ghost brick up, and then when I press Paint button, it takes the ghost off...

Really? wow that sucks, also look around the server options, or something like that and uncheck something called "Random Color"

do you have the funky bricks mod?
because that would explain the ghost bricks being "discolored"

He probably Fiddled around with the options... Go back and re-fiddle them to normality. There are random color options, there is a way to make the ghost brick ALWAYS a color in particular... there's also a way to just not explain the question right, and the problem even worse. Perhaps you did all the above?

Simple just press 'Start A Game' then press advanced rules that is next to music and add ons then look for random color then untick it press ok then that should do it hope it helps <3
