Windows could never be that vague about something, its an obvious virus.

One balloon pop'd up when it happened to me. It said:
You have spyware on our system. Download this software to get rid of it.

Then I downloaded it, thinking it was a microsoft program, but then it asked for $50 to buy it.

Ok Im leaning towards the system repair.
Should I really do it?

Hahah, You're so forgeted that you might as well sit back and laugh, then get your XP install disks out.

On a more serious note, try System Restore and see what it does.

It may or may not fix it, but it's worth trying.

"DO IT friend."

Wow, whats that line from.

I had the same thing. This is how I got rid of it:
Go to task manager. Open processes tab. Find "~tpc<letter>". Now right click and open containing folder. everything in that folder except obvious good things. Make sure you delete "a" and "b" and all the "~tpc<letter>"'s. Then it will go bye bye.

That files not there.
Thanks though.

K Im gonna jump.
Guess we shall see what happens.

Well, look in your processes and see if there is anything weird in there. :/
