To my understanding, instead of Updating Vista to service pack 11, they instead created windows 7. A new operating system that hopefully will be better than vista in terms of compatibility.

Vista was a XP reskin. Windows 7 is a whole new OS with a similar UI/feature.

forget this stuff. Windows is getting more and more too user friendly and they are coming up with the stupidest stuff now a days just to make more money and to aid them lazy people.
WE ARE ALL GONNA LIVE ON SOME GIANT SPACE SHIP AND SIT IN THOSE HOVERING CHAIRS THAT TAKE US AROUND AND HAVE ROBOTS DO EVERYTHING FOR US. JUST LIKE IN WALL-E. IT WILL HAPPEN.
