Being user friendly is a bad thing? I mean, it's not like Apple's version of user friendliness (Not necessarily intuitive, but more smothering).

Generally companies are in business to make money. The fact that Microsoft is successful in it's endeavor should warrant praise, not scorn. They have forgeted up before and not everyone agrees with some of their decisions, but for the most part they have acted in a fair manner (at least comparatively).

If you wish to criticize a company or a product, back up your opinions with facts or at least reasonable/logical conclusions.

I'm just saying they are adding a lot of pointless stuff in there.
As for the too user friendly thing, your devices menu now has huge 200x200 pictures of what the device actually is, just in case you can't read. Enjoy.

Can probably be modified or disabled in the settings.

Being too user friendly causes issues as the computer tries to automatically do things for you regardless of whether or not you want them done.

Question for users running Windows 7:

Does it crash at all? I know it's a beta, I may go get 64-bit Windows 7 and then get 64-bit Vista later.

I have 64-bit Windows 7 and so far it hasn't crashed at all. I've played gmod and half life 2 on it, no crashes at all, everything runs smoothly.
