Stratofortress Made a Molotov Fire bomb, That's Pretty Original, Only When Your Not even Near The Fire, You Die....WTF?

Personally, I think the add-on community focuses on weapons far too much. We need more cool maps and stuff.

This problem also effects DMs these days.

But DMs in general are flawed because a lot of times there just isn't any time taken to make sure it plays well over just looking good.

false.

false.
You're being far too defensive, he said "a lot of times" not "all the time".

false.
How's that false?

Take a look in Add-Ons and tell me how many weapons you see.

false.
It's only false because it shows that rkynick is slightly bias toward DM's. Sure, you may think that a lot of them are not properly done. But most people here may think it's enjoyable....Call me biased also for using "most"

I got like 100 guns... D;

So yea you're right.

While creating my warehouse DM, i realized that i needed some very underpowered and well made weapons.

I couldn't find any except the DB Shotgun, sixshooter, crowbar and the "gun" that came with BL!

I know that sounds like a lot, but out of all the weapons released, i would like some more variety. Examples: Jackhammer, lupara, etc

I'm bias toward them because I've been running and developing my own for many months now and it is very well balanced, but "Blockhead12034's 64x64 flat DM with miniguns and instakill rifles and machine guns and abusive admins" gets more players half the time.

In my obsessive quest for balance, I am actually editing the code of some weapons (and playertypes) on my server to get balance down to the smallest iota.  I am using the TF2 wiki to get damage per bullet, how many bullets, how often you can fire, the spread of the bullets, how many bullets you have in each clip, the speed and jump height of each class, and the health of each class.

Basically, I'm trying to copy the exact measurements of TF2 into Blockland for my server.  It'll take a while, but it'll be pretty darn good in the end.  Actual battles instead of two hits and your dead!  No more "oops I just rocketed you in the face after spamming 80 of them for insta-kill"!

Of course, I won't be releasing it because of the lack of original models.  And even if I did have original models, I don't think it would be a good idea to release it anyways, I'd just use it for my server only.

Methinks that by now Bishudo's weapons match the 'style' and 'originality' portions of the suggestions here, but they still be a little overpowered. The amount of unoriginal weapons is one of the reasons I suggested the HAAAX. After all, how many weapons can fling monitors?

I remember this being done in garry's mod. So no, it is not original.

when the machine gun spreads, do you mean that when you zoom in with it it doesent quite hit the center of the crosshair?

No, I mean that the more times you click the mouse button while someone in Bangladesh takes a step toward a wood construction, 3/10ths of the bullets spread from the gun in increasing fractions of the number 1, but only half the time, only on Tuesday, whether you zoom in or not, and depending on whether you are in the bedroom you can also walk away from your computer and the bullets will still spread, it's like a spring loaded mechanism, it's always there when you need it.
