Author Topic: My dog died.  (Read 15028 times)

Today.

I woke up this morning and my parents had let him outside as usual. I got ready for school and he came back inside. I left and had a normal boring day at school. Life seemed particularly crappier already. My dad is in a meeting so I had to get a ride from my friend. I opened the door and called for my dog as i usually do, and he normally comes up and wags his tail and greets me. He's been really sick for the past 2 months or so. We've been expecting it, but it's still shocking. There are 2 different possible causes, heartworm, and cancer, maybe both. As i called for him, nothing responded, no movement. I thought right away that something happened to him, maybe someone came and took him somewhere which would be unusual since i know everyone was doing something today. Then i finally found him in my parents bedroom halfway in their closet and on the far side of the bed laying on the floor. Of course i thought he was sleeping at first for a split second, and realized what happened. I sat there for a while wondering how different it was without him there to greet me at the door.

He was a nice dog, 8 years old. He always hated strangers. He must have bitten at least 6 people, excluding everyone else in my family. And when he bit, it hurt, alot. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing. Now i might actually be able to have people over to my house. But yeah, i'll just stop this here, this whole thing is too long for you idiots to comprehend anyway.

I actually read the whole thing...

Sorry. ;_;

That sucks. What kind of dog? I have a 13 year old toy poodle. She has breast cancer for the third time, it just keeps coming back D:

Sad. :(
What breed was it?

Weird it died at the age of 8 tho, my dog had cancer as well but she died at the age of 15 (my mistake).

He was a mix of a roosterer spaniel and a Labrador apparently. more lab though.

He was pretty fat though, lol.
These are the most recent pictures i have of him. They're from this winter.

ignore my messy room

:(
I dunno what I'd do if my cat died :(

--The sites working now for me.--

Your dog is so very cute. At least he's out of his pain and in a better place. :)

If my puppys died, I'd be crushed D: Best wishes to you, and I hope you find a way to grieve :)

Damn, I'm depressed now. D:

When I first read the topic I thought it said your dog lied. :/ Also finding your pet dead is never a fun experience, I would assume.

:(

That's really sad D:

RIP, [Insert Name Here].

ALSO: If one person says "tl;dr" in this topic, I will slaughter them.

Man. So much my dog hates me and for what reason ever he does, I don't know what I would do without her.
She is like a little sister for me.

That sucks, I remember when I lost my cat to cancer.  It still upsets me to today. I feel for ya.

I don't know what I would do without her.
She is like a little sister for me.
Same as my cat :(
I get worried when she stays out for long hours.
She once didn't come in for a day or two.

I feel sorry for ya, Adio, i think i know how you feel, i've been around for the death of 3 (Technically 4) of our dogs, we have one more dog left, although, she's old and rather sick, she takes a while coming up the stoops to get back into the house from the backyard, she sometimes lays out in the backyard and when it's time to get her in, then she decides to go to the bathroom even though she should've went when we first let her out, and sometimes when she tries to pee, sometimes blood comes out too ._.

It seems like most of our dogs died of cancer... Cancer is so dang annoying, it's caused plenty of deaths and is just plain sad :<
