Author Topic: The meaning of your username - Why you called yourself that.  (Read 12932 times)

Here, explain why you called yourself the username you have now. I'll start.

My name, I'm The Hunter, was inspired from a weird song I heard over the radio when I first discovered Blockland. I was listening to it while I started to sign up for the forums, and the song, by Bjork, was playing. I thought it would be a unique and interesting name.

I was 5 years old, and my Mom let me think of a username to sign up for AOL. "Warren" was taken, so I put my initials. It wouldn't let me put only 3 characters for a name, so I went down the middle of the number pad. Been my internet alias ever since.

First username was Heroms, I just needed to come up with something quick for some website and I was downloading roms at the time, so Heroms was the first thing that came to mind.
Next is Partizan, it's an awesome word so I used it.
Next is Vertzer, I actually misspelled Mojo's previous username, Vertzer0.
Next is Gunshin/Mr Gunshin, Gunshin means God of war in Japanese so it's also awesome and relevant to most of the games where I use that name.

Despite popular belief, my name is not Nathan.  I played runescape, when it was not ruined, and I decided I needed a more creative name than 3dh1994.  That came from me and my siblings who all have the same initials, and my birth year.  After awhile though, 3dh1994 got old, and just sounded flat-out weird.  So, I switched to this name permanently.

i was making decals that were pixelart. i was finishing up a t shirt saying"pixel", and noticed i misspelled it, "pixl". I thought it sounded cool and went to name my decal pack that.

months later i had a name change to pixl

Quote from: Bones4
Some people know this already, but here it goes.

In the mid 90s, my dad raced online in NASCAR games under the name Bones3. When he was going up, he grew tall quickly and appeared "boney" so people called him Bones. When he started racing he wanted to use just Bones, but it was taken...  same for Bones1 and Bones2, so he became Bones3. In the late 90s, I took on the internet and adopted Bones4.

I called myself this because I did.

I used to go around as my regular name, Nick or Nicholas, and I decided to add 'the[insert random item here]' to Nick. I had went to a chiniese food bar that served sushi, which was weird, so I took the name Sushi :D

It was an extremely generic name I chose when I first downloaded the game.

I've occasionally used "Space Guy R" as a name on the Internet after some odd incident with me installing RTB incorrectly, calling myself "Space Guy RTB" to test online mode and a really old Blockland clan and its tag cutting my name off due to the character limit then.

I called myself this because I did.

Gaiden Shinji? :D

Oblivion, at all?

I noticed that yesterday.

FrAgGEr comes from when me and my friends were making profiles for a game on my gamecube. We typed them up and i came up with Fragger. I thought it needed a more personal touch so i put caps in.

Adio comes from the shoe brand that i was obsessed with.

Got it from an Anime, don't use it anywhere but Blockland.
