However my 8400 makes it look lovey

Go to the start menu on your computer, and go to run. Type in dxdiag and hit ok. Go to the display tab and tell me what is says for Name

Im sure you can run it, but you'd have to turn your settings down and it will look like crap

I bought an ATI Radeon HD 3450 and it runs Garry's Mod on high settings no problem.

A little old yes, but it does well.

Power Supply Requirement: 300w
Bus slot: PCIe x16 2.0
Recommended amount of RAM: 1 Gig

A better way of going about this, would be to get all the specs on your pc then look around on Newegg.com for a graphics card that will suit your needs.

Unless you plan to only ever use your computer to play Garry's Mod.

Right click My Computer and select Properties for information on your computer.

DxDiag is another round about way of getting the same information.

Ya.. i had GMOD on that computer uh.... dont bother.

Any new current video card should work.
