So, by me getting this, will it improve game performance? Or it will be a great waste of time and money?

So, should I get one or not?

My best recommendation would be the ATI Radeon 4500

It's cheap and its really strong, you'll be surprised that it can run almost every game on full settings.

it's about 130-150$.

Try an nVidia 8 series (GT). I use an 8600 with vsync and HDR off.

It's too bad that there never has been an ATI Radeon 4500. One of those mystical cards that never existed.

Now...there is the ATI Radeon HD 4850 for about $150 which is a decent graphics card and will run most average games well. For your needs the much cheaper Nvidia Geforce 8600GT (can be had for under $70) is a better choice.

Please guys, don't talk about GPUs and offer advice if you aren't aware of the market.

I recommend the Nvidia GeForce 82012 GTH

same grafics card, i only crash when i look a ta huge exploson, no propblem anything else

So how does the GeForce 6150 SE compare to the 6150 LE?

I had that. Its bad compared to everything else, but there were no games I couldn't run other than Universe at War

I can run HL2 Well with that card.

Hell, I can run TF2 in OK settings, The only problem is that I suffer huge FPS drops because I only have 1 GB of RAM, I plan on ordering some after my birthday.

The 8800 GT can run GMod with no problem, so I also recommend getting an 8 series GT.

These are the factory specs on your computer crazyeli:

I read somewhere about your PCI slots being able to upgrade so far.
Take those specs and any other upgrades you might have made on your computer since you bought it
(Hardware Upgrades, I.E: Ram) and bring it to your local computer store.
Ask someone there to review it and for their suggestions on cards, or if your computer can even upgrade
to some of the brand names that have been thrown at you.

Make a list of their suggestions and surf Newegg.com and compare prices so that you don't spend more than
necessary.

EDIT: If possible, I would go for this card -> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130436
