Author Topic: Make V11 like V8  (Read 4164 times)

I wonder how much Badspot would have to pay to use the Lego Minifigure as players.
I know you can use them with permission of Lego, which normally cost money.
I understand if the cost if a million dollars or something like that.
Yet, if the cost is $500, I say go for it!

V2 was LEGO, but it wasn't sold because, first, it was beta, second, he would be breaking laws because of the LEGO brand being in it.

Thats what i heard as well, but i thought the "lego" version of blockland was sold because there are videos of ppl using it..

yes they have thongs that are blocko
Lol'd.

Anyway, I like everything the way it is now. However, I do like the circular studs.

v1: Badspot's first thing he didn't give out?
v2: The alpha we got
v3: Retail release (?) - although this used wierd versions until v7, I think.

Btw, with the current version counting system
v0001 = v1
v0002 = v2
v1 = v3
v1.01 = v4
v1.02 = v5
v1.03 = v6
v7 = v7
etc.

Where the forget are you people pulling this from?! I'm going by Badspot, when he switched to v7's numbering system, he said 0001 was v1, not 0.01, 0001, same with 0002, it was v2, then 1.0 was v3, 1.01 was v4, 1.02 was v5, 1.03 was v6, v7 was v7, and so on.
SNOWFLAKE RAAAAAAGGGEEEEEE

Jesus forgetk! You're just so stupid.

Badspot changed the numbering system, so all the previous entries changed.
BL0002 - The one that looked Lego-ish
V1 - First Retail Release
...
V10 - Current Version

Actually, Marcem is correct.
First retail release was 1.0, in this case, V3.

Thats what i heard as well, but i thought the "lego" version of blockland was sold because there are videos of ppl using it..
It was free, idiot.  If people use it does it have to cost money?!
By the way, Spation, tell me the 10 retail releases.

V1, V2, V3, V4, V5, V6, V7, V8, V9, V10
It's a simple system, I would have expected you to get it.

What were the actual names at the time?  By the way, more proof that I'm winning this here, note the 1.03 to v7 patch. http://blockland.us/index.asp?p=archive

So you're just winging about their actual names?
In that case "V2" as you call it is actually Blockland0002, as that is what it was called when it was released.

1.0 was the first retail release,  That was it's 3rd release in all, when he created v7, Badspot said he didn't want to create confusion, so he started it from 0001.
V1 = 0001
V2 = 0002
v3 = 1.0
v4 = 1.01
v5 = 1.02
v6 = 1.03
v7 = v7
v8 = v8
v9 = v9
v10 = v10
v11 = v11

I was asking the official names, so you'd figure out that there were only 8 retail releases.

All I'm saying is that you shouldn't call it V2, it's 0002.
It confuses people, like saying it's 36 degrees when there is frost on the roads.
