To apply the rainbow effect, change the colorfxID to 7.  For example, in the following script, it will create one single brick with the Rainbow FX.  You can change the number to whatever other special effect you want.:

%posx = 1;
%posy = 1;
%posz = 1;

%temp = new fxDTSBrick()
   {
    datablock = "brick1x1Data";
    position = %posx SPC %posy SPC %posz;
    rotation = "0 0 0 0";
    scale = "1 1 1";
    angleID = "0";
    colorfxID = "7";
    shapefxID = "0";
    isPlanted = 1;
   };

Yes, I understand how to make it rainbow.

What you don't understand is that I'm way too lazy to do more than suggest that you try it.

Haha that wiki is my wiki I made ages ago, then got told that RTB.com has a perfectly good wiki.

Well at least I think, because I made that title on the front page.

I can't help but think he thinks he's the only person here who knows anything about scripting.

A very good find.
Quite interesting :D

Given a few others such as Trader and the likes, you're probably right.
I could figure out how to make a gun or a vehicle by reading through other scripts, but he shows a thorough understanding of how scripting works.
And it has nothing to do with an add-on, which I like.

Mindraker do you really expect a community as handicapped as this to actually understand parametric equations?

you just use freaking serial numbers looks cool but its nothing special realy
