I use the term African American in all of my English essays and presentations. It's more formal than saying black.

They are going from one penal colony to another, they aren't getting out. They are debating changing one line of the constitution to add enemy combatants implicated in terrorist activities to be subject to trial by Court Martial. That means they will be back in prison, only somewhere else. In which case, they would need to use evidence not found using water-boarding.

Also shut up, European countries will give a murderer or a rapist 10 years in prison. And while in prison they can use the computer, and visit their families on the weekend. Don't call our correctional system flawed.

i know it dont even need to be said or argued about. but since the discussion is on...

-most of the people in guantanamo aren't terrorists or of any threat. just random militia and such that were questionable.

-they dont plan to just open the doors and all is well for the detainees, they are spending the next 6 months reviewing them all and picking the ones that need to continue to be imprisoned. then those ones will be taken to somewhere to get a proper and fair trial, and killed or imprisoned or whatever they do to war-crimers these days.

kids just read headlines and listen to their farmer-forget parents, and think they understand whats going on in the world

Most of the girls in my grade are so anti-Obama because of abortion. So hating him that they don't go watch him become president last Tuesday, and actually glare at me when I mention it.
